The Interactive Advertising Bureau ( IAB ) has released its highly anticipated schedule for the upcoming 2023 NewFronts, and it’s looking to be another fantastic event for the industry. With just a month to go before the event, IAB has confirmed that it will feature a unique hybrid format, offering in-person and virtual viewing options for all four days.
Maria Menounos to Host Wednesday Events
Unlike previous years, the 2023 NewFronts will also have a distinct location for in-person activities on Wednesday, May 3, at the Convene at 225 Liberty Street in Lower Manhattan. The day will be hosted by the brilliant Maria Menounos, who is returning for the first time since 2021, taking over from Peloton’s Alex Touissant, who hosted in 2022.

This year, a range of diverse media companies are scheduled to present at the event, including Americano Media, CafeMedia, DirecTV, LA TV, Revry, and Teads. However, high-profile brands such as Twitter, Tubi, and Dotdash Meredith have decided not to participate in the 2023 event.
More Choices Than Ever Before for Media Buyers and Consumers
IAB CEO David Cohen emphasized the importance of the NewFronts in bringing together buyers and sellers to discuss industry growth, innovation, and progress. He noted that this year, the IAB asked buyers which diverse media companies they wanted to hear from and received suggestions for Blavity, Cocina, and Urban One.

In addition to the in-person presentations at Convene at 225 Liberty Street, a variety of other companies will be showcasing their events at different locations, including presenting sponsor YouTube, Vizio, Amazon, Snap, Roku, Peacock, and TikTok.
Eric John, VP of Media Center at IAB, emphasized the growth of ad-supported platforms and the need for media buyers and consumers to have more choices than ever before. «No one should be taking last year’s approach to this year’s NewFronts,» he stated.
Overall, the 2023 NewFronts promises to be an excellent opportunity for industry players to connect and discuss emerging trends and opportunities. Check out the full schedule, all in Eastern Time (ET), below:
